FAQs

Q. What if some team members want to attend but others cannot?
A. You are certainly welcome to come with whatever team members are available. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends, and bring information back to your team. If your team manager is unable to attend that’s okay too, but another designated adult must remain with the team.

Q. How can I request an accommodation to make this event more accessible?
A. This is a priority for us! There is a spot to note accommodation requests on your registration, and you can also email jenna.caputo@nhicc.org!

Q. What is the cost to attend?
A. DIve In! registration is free for all teams!

Q. What should we bring?
A. Water, snacks, and be sure to wear comfy clothes so you can move around and sit on the floor.

Q. There are too many great options, can we go to more than two workshops?
A. You are welcome to come for the full day! You’ll have two workshops and the Instant Challenge session for half the day, and FOUR blocks of workshops during the other half of the day.

Q. What will the Early Learning (formally Rising Stars!) experience be like?
A. Early Learning Challenge teams will travel together with a dedicated volunteer during Instant Challenge, and skills workshops that are the same as the competitive teams, but presented to Early Learning team members separately.
