Read Me: Special Addition to TM Cafe – Cartoonist, Musician And…

We are happy to announce that NH-based cartoonist, musician, and educator Marek Bennett will present a  2-hour session on comic development and visual storytelling in conjunction with the NH-DI Team Manager CAFE at Hooksett Memorial School on November 16.

Educators are likely to recognize a lot of Marek’s work (Click for more).

Marek will focus this presentation on comic development and visual storytelling. The approach Marek will teach (encouraging kids to use pictures to tell their story) is UNIVERSAL and could be the very approach that helps your team develop this year’s awesome skit! While this workshop will be great for all teams, “Laugh Art Loud” (Challenge C) Team Managers may find this particularly important.

Marek’s workshop will run from 2-4 in the afternoon.   It is available to ALL Team Managers, including Rising Stars!  (we will finish your sessions in time for you to attend!).  

PLEASE NOTE:There is an additional charge for attending this session, but you’ll walk away with one of Marek’s books,  some mini-comics and a  whole bunch of knowledge to share with your teams!

If you are already attending TM CAFE, the cost is $10 per person.

If you can’t attend the entire CAFE, you can still join us for just Marek’s session; the cost is $20 per person
