Teams competed across multiple Challenge categories — spanning technical, engineering, scientific exploration, fine arts performance, improvisation, and service learning — each presenting a solution they had created, rehearsed, and refined entirely on their own over months of preparation. True to the spirit of Destination Imagination, team managers and other adults played no role in creating the solutions; every idea, every prop, and every performance came from the students themselves.
Top-placing teams earned the right to represent New Hampshire at the Destination Imagination Global Finals, where thousands of teams from across the United States and around the world will compete in their Challenge and age bracket.

NHICC (New Hampshire Innovation and Creativity Connection), the administrative 501(c)3 that operates New Hampshire Destination Imagination, awarded their annual 2006 Achievement Award to 13-year NH-DI program veteran, Sarah Murphy of Windham. Post graduation, Sarah plans to follow her love of science and pursue a degree in chemistry.

And a special thank you to Bedford High School, host of the amazing event, to all our amazing volunteers, and especially to out NH-DI Alumni Volunteers who were once on teams and have returned to give back to our program!
