Get a Clue, Secondary Level
The original rap song that described the 3 suspects was truly indescribable. The effort, detail, and captivating performance was unparalleled. Their creativity and style impressed the audience and appraisers alike! The integration of every single element was top notch. It made a cohesive and refined performance that wowed!

This award is given for outstanding design, engineering, execution, and/or performance.
MUSIC, Mountain View Middle School (130-13511)
Get a Clue, Middle Level
Each and every prop, from the wallpaper to the typewriter, to the display stand detail, and to the diamonds, displayed over-the-top skill, workmanship, and effort. This team’s use of research and mixed media, and attention to time-period detail, far exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed by the springs and moving cartridge in the team-created typewriter.
The Doors, Hollis/Brooklne DI (130-05679)
Musical Mashup, Middle Level
This team effectively incorporated complex electrical, mechanical, and software engineering complexity in two performance elements. The electro-optical harp was a very well crafted device that demonstrated an outstanding use of materials and strong engineering skill sets. The Jacob’s ladder backdrop/door was a beautiful device demonstrating innovative thinking and strong engineering skill sets.
