In 2025, we are holding separate state tournaments in Meredith and Amherst. At each tournament, the team with the highest score in each competitive Challenge and competition level will qualify for Destination Imagination Global Finals 2025.
Winter weather: The tournament will proceed as planned on Saturday. The latest weather forecasts are predicting temperatures to remain above freezing in Amherst on Saturday. Weather conditions in most of the state are likely to be worse on our Sunday snow date.
Some of you may encounter difficult road conditions on Saturday, so please allow extra time and drive carefully. If your team happens to arrive late because of the weather, let us know, and we will try to fit them in later in the day.

We have just posted the two-hour volunteer schedule, along with job descriptions for their assignments. Tournaments run smoothly because of these volunteers, so please make sure your team’s volunteer reports on time! If something comes up and they can’t arrive at their assigned time, it’s OK to send another adult to substitute for them. If we’ve accidentally scheduled someone to work at the same time their child’s team will be performing, please let us know so we can change their assignment.
Surprise! We have a new version of the preliminary tournament schedule, but this probably isn’t much of a surprise if you’ve been following the updates on this page.
