Destination Imagination Global Finals 2024 opened this evening in Kansas City, MO. The largest celebration and competition of its kind is featuring teams from 16 New Hampshire communities including Auburn (2 teams), Bedford (4 teams), Bow, Concord, Derry (Pinkerton Academy), Hampstead, Merrimack (homeschooler team), Jaffrey-Rindge, Mascoma (2 teams), Milford and Windham. They will join teams from 15 countries, including Canada, Australia, China, and Ukraine, as well as 35 states,
Teams will compete in challenges based on science, technology, engineering, arts, math (STEAM), or service entrepreneurship and be judged on those creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Teams compete within their challenge and age group.
