With teams from around the world and most every state, three New Hampshire Destination Imagination teams placed in the top 10 in the world. Destination Imagination Global Finals is an academic tournament that is the culmination of a year’s worth of STEAM-based problem-solving. Teams in over 30 countries participate in the “D.I.” program.

Monadnock Regional High School, a high school team that took on the Engineering Challenge placed third. The Service Learning Challenge team from Bedford DI – McKelvie Intermediate School placed 6th in the world, and the Improvisational Challenge team from Bedford DI – Ross A Lurgio Middle School placed 9th in the world. CONGRATUATIONS!

In all 3 of the 12 teams representing the Granite State placed at the global academic tournament that empowers teams to build and use creative problem-solving, collaboration and critical-thinking skills. The Challenges have different focus areas, and are strictly team-solved, without any “interference” from others.
