On Saturday, August 26, NH Destination Imagination will join the family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness at the Dover Maker Faire at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire in Dover, from 10AM – 4 PM.
If you haven’t been to a Maker Faire, it’s a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s part science fair, part country fair, and part something entirely new.
NH-DI will be among the nearly 70 Makers at the Faire – and asking others to use their creativity to protect the defenseless Grapes from the evil Grape Crushing/Destructo Machine created by the NH-DI team!
“Maker Faire is primarily designed to be forward-looking, showcasing makers who are exploring new forms and new technologies. But it’s not just for the novel in technical fields; Maker Faire features innovation and experimentation across the spectrum of science, engineering, art, performance and craft”, according the to their web site. We have numerous alumni and team members in the ranks of the international Maker movement.
Connect with the Dover Maker Faire on Facebook and Twitter at @MakerFaireDover. See you there!
