Global Finals Bound Team NH Spoils Their Dinner

Many of the 41 student creative problem-solving teams that will represent New Hampshire at Destination Imagination Global Finals met at Londonderry High School on Friday night. They came from around the state to learn what they can expect when they compete with 1,400 teams from 48 states and 15 countries at Destination Imagination Global Finals later in the month.

Most important, they got to meet each other before the big trip. They reviewed the differences between New Hampshire competition and Global Finals, and parents and Team Managers got a better understanding of how huge this event truly is.

In the fall, over 300 New Hampshire teams took part in Destination Imagination STEAM-based Challenges appraised on the team’s creativity, problem-solving, situational management and innovation skills.

3M, Disney, IBM, Oracle Academy, NASA and National Geographic are just some of the companies extending the educational event beyond the competition at the Innovation Expo.
