In less than a month, hundreds of creative problem solving teams from around the Granite State will compete with solutions that showcase their creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills in Destination ImagiNation competitions.
With training at Londonderry High School this Saturday, the final groups of volunteers, called Appraisers, will be trained to evaluate the team solutions, led by Challenge Masters with years of experience. There are nearly 2,000 students in the New Hampshire Destination ImagiNation program around the state this year, and another 100,000 around the world.
The volunteers will learn how to put themselves in the place of some of the most creative kids in the state, and accurately judge their creativity, problem solving techniques and teamwork skills.
Great photo ops, esp after 10AM as adults try hands-on creativity-building activities.
Who: Volunteers from around the state.
Why: They are being trained to appraiser creative solutions of Challenges that incorporate core school subjects with a focus in Technical/Mechanical Design, Structural/Architectural Design, Science, Theatrical/Literary/Fine Arts Elements, Community Service and Improvisational Techniques.
