New Hampshire Destination Imagination teams with the top scores at our Affiliate Tournament can advance to compete with the best teams from most states and many other countries at Destination Imagination Global Finals.
Global Finals is the world’s largest celebration of creativity. Thousands of the world’s most innovative minds compete in teams to showcase their Challenge solutions in our international competition, celebrate their creativity and have fun.
Global Finals normally takes place in late May, but this year DI HQ decided to postpone Global Finals 2021 in order to have a better handle on health and safety concerns due to COVID-19 before making a final decision about whether or not to proceed with a large in-person event.
It would have been exciting to get together in-person; however, after thoughtful discussion and consideration with many community members and keeping in mind what is best for our most important asset—our teams—Destination Imagination decided to transition to an entirely virtual event.
