Over the past 31 years, New Hampshire Destination ImagiNation has generated over 100,000 alumni trained in the building blocks of innovation: creativity, problem solving and teamwork. On Saturday at the University of New Hampshire, they will be joined by several hundred students from around the state to learn a variety of skills to help them compete at Destination ImagiNation Creativity Tournaments in March.

Empowering kids to use creativity to spur innovation is a key goal of Destination ImagiNation, a non-profit educational program. This weekend at Pembroke Academy, 30 new adult volunteer Team Managers from around the state, enough for 210 new students, were trained how to facilitate collaboration, teamwork, communication and creativity.

Destination ImagiNation is counting down to its final event called Global Finals, which will take place from May 25 – 28, 2011 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
