A big thank you to Southern New Hampshire University, the host site of the second round of New Hampshire Destination Imagination (NH-DI) Team Manager training that was held this past Saturday, November 22, 2025. Team Managers are the volunteer adults who facilitate the creative solutions that students, from pre-K through college develop at Destination Imagination tournaments. Training was led by a blend of alumni, adults who were on teams as students, seasoned Appraisers, Team Managers and NH Destination Imagination leadership.
The Team Managers reviewed the rules and best practices, and learned how to facilitate creativity, collaboration and teamwork from their student teams. They also practiced Instant Challenges, a multifaceted Challenge that teams will see in competition (or presentation for non-competitive teams) that help students build their “think of their feet” skills. Team Managers from around the state shared what works best with their teams.
Team Managers are welcome to join the NH-DI private community and attend Zoom training sessions that are scheduled through the competitions in March and April. Email questions@nh-di.org with any questions.
Team members will have the opportunity to advance their skills on Saturday, January 11 at NH-DI’s DIve In! program. Details and registration will follow shortly.
New Hampshire Destination Imagination (NH-DI) program guides students from kindergarten through college to join a global program with peers in over 30 countries. Teams select one of seven annual STEAM-based or Service Learning Challenges. Through this autonomous, hands-on process, students design, build, and present unique solutions, fully team owned, transforming curiosity into concrete, high-impact results celebrated at
tournaments.
