NHICC, the 501(c)(3) non-profit behind New Hampshire Destination Imagination (NH-DI) and Camp Gottalikachallenge, announced the election of two alumni to lead its board of directors as Chair and Vice Chair at their June annual meeting. Both individuals participated in the NH-DI team challenge program which builds creativity, collaboration and critical thinking skills using STEAM-based challenges for students in K-college.
Bryce Broadhurst has been elected Chair, and Talee Messenger, Vice Chair. Broadhurst, a District Services Manager represented team New Hampshire twice at Destination Imagination Global Finals. He has volunteered in various roles, from team manager to affiliate challenge master, and most recently, served on the NHICC Board of Directors. Messenger, a marketing professional with extensive experience in event management and public relations, was a former NH-DI scholarship recipient. She has since become a team manager and an active member of the NHICC marketing team and board of directors.
For over 40 years, NHICC, New Hampshire’s Innovation and Creativity Connection, has fostered teamwork, creative problem-solving, and innovation skills in New Hampshire students from preschool through college, preparing them to be future leaders and innovators through various sponsored programs.
