In the fall, nearly 1,800 students from across New Hampshire joined over 150,000 students in solving Destination Imagination Challenges based in science, technology, engineering, the arts, improvisation or service learning. There have been three weeks of Regional Tournaments in New Hampshire.
Destination Imagination is inspiring and equipping students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders through a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) based program that builds problem-solving, collaboration and creativity skills in students from K-college.
On Saturday, April 7th at Bedford High School, the top-scoring 104 teams in the state will compete in their selected Challenge and grade level to advance to the world's largest creativity celebration and competition, Destination Imagination Global Finals. There are expected to be over 1,400 teams from 48 states and 16 countries at this year's event. The scheduled festivities include the Destination Imagination Tournament, interactive exhibits, pin trading, skills workshops, international events, collaborative games and activities, and more.
