Volunteers, mostly alumni who were on teams when they were younger, are the driving force behind DIve In! Training.
Teams from around the state took a variety of sessions that helped enhance their creativity, collaboration and problem solving abilities. A series of STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts and Math) based sessions will add new options for teams that are working to solve open-ended Challenges in competition that starts in March. These sessions ranged from computer programming and stagecraft to upcycling materials, using music to forward plots and “think on their feet” Instant Challenges strategy, among others.
This was the largest DIve In! event held by our organization. Thank you to SNHU, and our amazing volunteers, both who helped run the event and the Team Managers and parents who brought teams!
