One competition stands between New Hampshire student teams and representing the state at the largest international problem solving competition of its kind – and that is underway at Salem High School.
The 115 New Hampshire teams that have advanced from regional competition will compete at NH Destination Imagination State Finals in Salem. They are one step away from competing with teams from 48 states and over 12 countries at Destination Imagination Global Finals.
These teams started work in the fall, selecting a Challenge that combines research, teamwork and creativity with core school subjects and an emphasis in the arts, science, technology, engineering, math or service learning. Every aspects of the team solution must be strictly “owned” by the teams. These solutions are appraised for creativity, teamwork and other elements. Teams compete within their selected challenge and grade bracket.
