DaVinci Award for outstanding creativity
This award is given for having a unique approach to a solution, for risk taking, and/or for outstanding creativity (and not necessarily skill or talent).

Level: Rising Stars
Challenge: Animal Mish Mash
This Rising Stars team put on an amazing performance beyond what would be expected at their young age. Their backdrops used multiple materials, and included see-through, 3-D, and moving parts. The hand-sewn costumes demonstrated unique and creative material selection, including a transformation mid-performance to adapt to their environment. Their theatrical demonstration of snow was special. The story, the detail, the creativity, and the “flair” that they had, all made this a very memorable Rising Star performance.

Challenge: Making Waves
This young team came up with a novel, unique, and effective idea. They used advanced scientific principles to overcome a physical Instant Challenge. Their teamwork was also fantastic!
