Winnicunnet High School on New Hampshire’s seacoast is buzzing with the competition of 115 teams from 57 communities – more than any regional this year. The top scoring teams from each regional, in each Challenge and age group is competing today to advance to compete with teams from virtually every state and 15 countries at Destination Imagination Global Finals in Knoxville in May.

Teams compete in open-ended challenges that require young people to apply science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM), in addition to improvisation, theater arts, presentation skills, writing, project management, communication, innovation, teamwork and community service.
