Saturday: Volunteers to be Trained to Appraise Creative Solutions
In less than 60 days, hundreds of creative problem solving teams from around the Granite State will compete with solutions that showcase their creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills in Destination ImagiNation competitions. Over the next two weekends, volunteers “Appraisers” will be trained to evaluate the team solutions, led by Challenge Masters with years of experience.
During the training, scheduled for Merrimack Valley Middle School in Penacook this Saturday, January 29th and at Londonderry High School on Saturday, February 5th, volunteers will learn how to put themselves in the place of some of the most creative kids in the state, and accurately judge their creativity, problem solving techniques and teamwork skills.
Who: Volunteers from around the state.
Why: They are being trained to appraiser creative solutions of Challenges that incorporate core school subjects with a focus in Technical/Mechanical Design, Structural/Architectural Design, Science, Theatrical/Literary/Fine Arts Elements, Community Service and Improvisational Techniques.
