Spirit of Discovery and Imagination Award
This award is given in recognition of those who act as superior role models in the areas of spirit, sportsmanship and volunteerism.
Griffin Memorial School | 130-78502 | elementary | Feary Tales | The Random Guys | Less than two weeks before the tournament, all of the props stored at a team member’s house were lost when a fire destroyed the entire home. When they learned about this, the other members of the team immediately went to work to replace what was lost, so the team (and especially the team member who lost his home) could still present their Challenge solution. Everyone who witnessed their energy and teamwortk felt that this team was a fine example of the true Spirit of DI. The desire, the effort. and the intent was a very beautiful thing to see. |
