This Saturday, October 31st, NH Destination Imagination will host our New Team Manager Training.

WHAT: First-year New Hampshire Destination Imagination Team Manager Volunteers training.

WHO: Nearly 100 volunteers from across New Hampshire who will be facilitating student teams taking part in competitions testing their creativity, collaboration, problem solving and innovation skills in STEM-based Challenges at Destination Imagination competitions.

SPECIAL GUEST: Johnny Wells, Director of Education for Destination Imagination who is just back from training sessions around the world will be the featured morning speaker. The Destination Imagination Challenge Program is done by over 200,000 students in 30 countries every year. New Hampshire has over 3,000 students in nearly 200 schools participate each year.

WHY: These students – and ONLY the students must solve open ended challenges by themselves: Budget, timeline, ideas and building a solution Technical, Scientific, Structural, Fine Arts, Improvisational, or Service Learning Challenges. This hands-on training provides facilitation skills for the volunteers in a way they do not interfere with the team’s solution.
