Team Challenge Appraiser Assignment requires the ACMs / RCMs to:

You do this as follows:

  1. log into the DIHQ Resource Area
  2. select your tournament using the menu pick tournaments=>select tournament
  3. go to the manage appraisers page (tournament=>manage appraisers)

You should see a table similar to the one below.  If there is no table of rooms, the schedule has not been transfered from the NH-DI.org/online website yet.  You will need to wait until the transfer takes place.

Lets look at the TC Rooms described in the table. The Gym hosts Challenge A that has 7 appraisers.  The Library hosts Challenge D that has 11 appraisers.  In both of these cases all the teams for a challenge are in a single room so we can proceed directly to assigning the appraisers to scored items.

Challenge B and C teams are divided across 2 room each.  In these cases, the ACMs / RCMs will need to decide which appraisers will appraise in each room. To do this, we need to look at the pool of TC appraisers in the special tc-unassigned room. In this case this room holds 38 appraisers.

To assign appraisers to Challenge B room 117-119, click the icon to the left of room tc-unassigned.  The unassigned TC appraisers will be displayed as shown in the screen shot below.  The ltr column shows the challenge the appraiser has trained to appraise.  You use the dropdown in the assign column to select the room to place the appraiser.  The appraisers will be removed from the list as you assign them to TC rooms.

Below shows TC room 117-119 after 6 appraisers have been assigned to that room. You can see the appraisers in the room by clicking theicon to the left of room 117-119. You can move an appraiser back to tc-unassigned using the  icon. (avoid deleting the appraiser as we might want to use them elsewhere).

To assign scored items to a room of appraisers click on the icon in the Asg column for the room. Below is a screen shot that results from doing this for TC room 117-119. The rows in the table are the scored items for this challenge and there is a column for each scoring appraiser in the room.  For each appraiser, check the checkbox for the scored items they need to score.

The screen shot below shows the page with the assignments complete. The last row of the table shows the percentage of scoring contributed by each appraiser.  Click the Check button to have the website look for errors in your assignments such a subjective items not scored by at least 2 appraisers.
