Feeling anxious about the prospect of working remotely with your Destination Imagination team? You’re not alone! We’d like to introduce you to the Private Eyes of DI, a New Hampshire team that participated in Virtual Global Finals 2020. Here are some tips they have on how to work together remotely during the 2020-2021 Challenge Season:
For Virtual Global Finals 2020, DI’s top priority was to ensure the safety all participants, so it was important to find a way for teams to participate without having to meet in person. DI created a Virtual Team Challenge called Distance Makes the Art Grow Stronger, in which teams used video conferencing platforms to create a video presentation, and team members had to appear in separate windows. Visit our Global Finals 2020 page to watch some of the best Virtual Team Challenge submissions.
Most of our 2020 regional and affiliate DI tournaments were canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19. NH-DI encouraged teams to send us a video to show us whatever they could from their 2019-2020 Team Challenge solution, while maintaining social distancing of team members in any new video recordings.
