Update: March 10, 2020 9:24PM
We continue to closely monitor the details around the Coronavirus / COVID-19 situation, so we can respond accordingly. Our primary concern is for our students and our volunteers during our competition season.
We have been in touch with State of New Hampshire health authorities, and are following their recommendations.
At this time, our tournaments will take place as scheduled. NH-DI will take on-site actions at our events, including hand sanitizer stations, and encouraging that “jazz hands” or “elbow bumps” replace handshaking and fist bumps. Attendees are requested to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds regularly. These actions will evolve as the situation demands.
Additional information on COVID-19 and its potential impact on New Hampshire is available on the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services website:

We will make another update to this later this week on NH-DI.org and our Facebook page.

Please note the following update in guidance, based on NHHS (New Hampshire Health and Human Services) updates:
- We are asking all people, including team members and volunteers showing any flu symptoms to stay home from these events.
- Per the NH DHHS page: “As of March 4, 2020 The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have announced travelers from countries with a Level 3 travel alert are to be advised to stay home and monitor their health for 14 days after returning to the United States.”
NH-DI is asking anyone who has traveled to a country with a Level 3 travel alert – and this list may change, to please stay home from our events until the 14 day window is complete. - Per the NH DHHS page: “Travelers from countries with a Level 2 travel alert are to be advised to monitor their health and limit interactions with others for 14 days after returning to the United States.”
