New Hampshire Destination Imagination was happy to be back for our third Dover Maker Faire this past weekend.
Kids, adults, Jawa and Imperial Stormtroopers alike were challenged to try and save a grape using only an index card, 2 paper clips, a toothpick and a mailing label. The Force was strongest with the kids.
In all, over 200 grapes were crushed and even more people learned more about the creativity, collaboration, communication and problem solving skills that our team members learn in our Challenge Program.
The Dover Mini Maker Faire is a one-day festival where “Makers” of all kinds gather to show what they are making and share what they are learning. It’s a chance for anyone interested in the “Do-It-Yourself” movement to learn new things and go home inspired.
