Before the game of Saturday night, June 9th, the New Hampshire FisherCats, the AA Minor League baseball team of the Toronto Blue Jays honored the creative problem solving team members that represented New Hampshire at Destination Imagination Global Finals. The honor took place in the form of a pre-game parade around the warning track, along the third and first base lines. A representative from each team present also stood with NHICC the gNHome, the mascot of New Hampshire Destination Imagination, who threw out the first pitch of the game.
These members of New Hampshire Destination Imagination outscored over 300 teams from the 2011-2012 DI year. Teams competed in open-ended challenges that focus on science, technology, the arts, improvisation, engineering, math and social learning. Each solution is appraised for creativity, communication and collaboration skills.
