Over 700 students came from across the state to our annual NH Destination Imagination Instant Combustion and
Improv Workshop, held this year at Southern New Hampshire University. Team Members and their Team Managers learned improv and presentation skills, think on their feet skills with Instant Challenge strategies, and collaboration methods they can use to solve their team Challenge that is based in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) or service learning.
Teams will use these skills as they prepare for competition at regional tournaments in March.
Morning teams were introduced NHICC’s new Executive Director, Anna Maenhout. NHICC, or New Hampshire’s Incredible Creativity Connection administers the Destination Imagination program in the Granite State. Anna has been a director at a nonprofit organization focused on youth programs for 14 years, including as a member of the senior leadership team at FIRST. Look for the formal announcement shortly!
