20130316opennashua_panoOver 900 students competed Saturday in Nashua and Littleton in the opening week of New Hampshire Destination Imagination Regional Tournaments. Student teams of up to seven demonstrate their creativity competing in open-ended challenges that have a focus on the arts, science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) and service learning. “DI” teams must solve their challenge without help of others.

Teams were appraised on numerous areas including various results, teamwork, presentation, creativity and innovation. Top teams advanced by Challenge and their age level. Teams that advanced will compete at Destination Imagination State Finals at Salem High School on Saturday, April 6th.

Regional competitions continue this coming Saturday at Monadnock Regional High School in East Swanzey and Sanborn Regional High School in Kingston.
